The Sarcasm I Feel

So, I've been here at my sisters for nearly 3 weeks now, and just yesterday a magnet on her fridge caught my eye. I read it and laughed so hard I was almost crying! I love my children dearly. But, sometime this sarcasm that seeps from this artwork rings all too true! Must find and purchase said magnet! Okay. Real photos coming soon! There are a TON!

Random Picture Update

Time for a quick picture update! In random order, here's what's been happening this week!

Grandpa Ennis gained quick "cool" points with Kami when he shared his Peanut M&M's during movie night. Kami's order of priorities: (1) Chocolate, (2) Red Vines, (3) Popcorn and (4) Movie.
Calvin knows how to push Kami's buttons to make her cry....but he does have his redeeming moments.
AJ has decided that crawling and standing with support is 'old hat', and that standing by himself would be much cooler. This little dude needs to slow down on the growing bit. My baby won't be a baby much longer!
One of Kami's favorite activities while visiting Auntie's house - she can "check her email".
That's it for this week! Grandma & Grandpa Ennis are here this week, so lots of fun times ahead! I'll try to post more when I can, but we also have lots on tap for this week! Happy Father's Day to all of those wonderful dads out there (if I don't post sooner!). Kami and AJ are so lucky to have one of the best ones out there! We love and miss you, Drew!

Candy Wrapper Belt Link

Okay, so the kids are asleep and I found myself doing some blog surfing this evening and I stumbled upon the cutest candy wrapper tutorial. Perfect craft for an older child, YW's Mutual Activity or Girls Camp Craft, OR if you're my old high school friend, Linsie who apparently consumes Tootsie Rolls while honing on her creative writing skills. Anyway, I just had to bookmark for future reference and thought I'd share with the rest of the blogger world out there.

Ahhhh...

Home! Well, sort of. Same country anyway! Me and the kiddos made the trek across the ocean without incident. Our flight was far from full, so there was plenty of room for us all to stretch out...which was really only helpful when it was time to sleep. But, I think that sleep has helped the jet lag out tremendously for both the kids and myself. We still get tired at weird times, but nothing some rest and a walk can't cure. So, we're in Washington State right now visiting my sister and her family. Kami loves having someone to play with EVERY day and spends most of her time outside (crisp, clean and fresh air, might I add!). Anyway, we're having fun and enjoying ourselves very much! And we're adjusting ourselves to the American way of living. Although I have caught myself bowing to people AND cutting them off while driving! It's the loveliness and rudeness of Korea coming out in me! ;^)

Okay! So, here are some pictures of our adventures thus far:

Our ride up to the Airport in Seoul! Drew was nice enough to ride with us to the airport and hang out with us for hours before we left! We miss him so much!
Once we were through Security, I was on my own with the kids. We still had an hour before our flight was to board, so luckily there was a little indoor park where the kids used up some energy.

Nine and a half hours later we were enjoying stepping onto American soil. We love Korea, but we love our own country more and we're so glad we're here to stay! So, after getting set up with a rental car, we made a short 1 hour drive (short compared to the 9 1/2 hrs) to Enumclaw to my sisters house. There the afternoon was well spent playing in the backyard. And after a long hard afternoon of play, it was "movie night" for FHE. Kami brought lots of shows that her cousins hadn't seen, so they picked one of hers - CARS, for those who were dying to know.
Today was spent walking around town. There's a great little consignment shop and I picked up a pair of summer pants for Kami, a bunch of stuff for AJ and even scored a skirt and pair of pants for myself (I was totally checking out the skirt to see if I could re-create it). Tonight was also Enrichment night...they were sewing christmas stockings that will be filled with goodies and sent to servicemen at Christmastime. Sewing? Geeze. Twist my arm! After dinner, Robert brought out the Chickens (the coop is almost done and looks great!). I thought Kami would dig them more, but, I honestly can't tell which one is the chicken and which one is my daughter...
Auntie Rachel and Charlotte came to her rescue! She's still not sure about the chickens. And that's it for now! More adventures to be posted soon!

Bags are Packed!

Whew! The last few weeks have been a little crazy getting me and the kids ready to head back to the states! Last minute shopping, spending time and saying goodbye to friends, organizing the house for the movers has had me a little busy, to say the least! But all of the "last minute" has come to and end. As of this morning, me and the kids have our bags packed and are ready to make our way back to the states and to our new home! I'll try and keep up on blogging while we're adventuring. Imagine...the next time I blog, I'll be back in America! :^)
